The barleywine absolutely had a stalled fermentation. Over the course of 2 months with the champagne yeast, the gravity dropped from 1.034 to 1.021. So that means that with an OG (original gravity) of 1.099, we went from an 8.5% ABV beer to a 10.24% ABV beer!
Furthermore, we have 6 gallons of wheat beers that are calling out to all the wheat lovers we know. Not 6 gallons total, but 6 gallons per brewer. So hopefully you’ll help us drink our stockpile of wheats to free up some of our bottles.
Lastly, you’ll definitely want to keep harassing us on the chocolate imperial (ch-imp?) porter. It is finishing carbonation along with the barleywine variants.
